Refund policy

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return, conditions apply.

Returns
Our policy regarding refunds & returns is in accordance with the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission (ACCC) which can by clicking this link: https://www.accc.gov.au/

We are not required to provide a refund or replacement if you change your mind. We also do not accept order cancellations.

You can only choose a refund or exchange if an item is defective or damaged. This is when the item:

  • is not fit for purpose
  • is unsafe 
  • is significantly different from the description 
  • is clearly damaged upon arrival

To be eligible for a refund or return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, with tags and in its original packaging. We will need either photo or video evidence of the damage/defect on the item which will be included/attached to your returns email. Please also attach the receipt or proof of purchase/order number. We work with suppliers globally so please do not send any items/returns to the address provided on the packaging/parcel. We deal with all refunds & returns in house. 

If your return is accepted, we’ll contact you on how and where to send your package. Items sent back without first requesting a return will not be accepted or processed.

Refunds
If you are requesting a refund for a defective or damaged item, we will notify as soon as we’ve received and inspected your return. Once approved, your refund will be processed for payment back on to your original payment method within 5-10 business days. Please remember it can take an additional 3-5 days for your bank or credit card company to process this from their end once received.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return and you still have not received your refund, please contact us immediately at info@thefrugalloom.com.au so we can investigate the matter for you.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon receiving and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item. Please email us at info@thefrugalloom.com.au so we can work with you to resolve the issue.
